About this Site
This site was created as a final project for Dr. Petrik's Clio II class at George Mason University. The purpose of the class is to learn how to use new media to make history more accessible. For our final projects, we were to make a final Web site based on a topic of our choice. My topic, the murals created for the 1936 Centennial Exposition, is also the topic of my M.A. thesis which I will be completing during the 2010 - 2011 school year. After this semester, I plan to continue working on this site as I complete more research on the topic.
