Big changes coming to Modern Art Historian!
For the past year the site has remained fairly static in content as I've been completed my Master's degree while working full time. Now that I have graduated I am looking to the future and have some fun plans for the site. I am making the following changes, which will become accessible through the links on the left navigation menu.
Beginning winter 2011, I will be posting new blog entries which will include exhibit reviews, as well as reviews of art history-related films and books.
In addition to blog posts, I am adding two new sections to the site. The first is a museum page, listing current and upcoming shows in some of my favorite museums. As I live in a DC suburb, most of the museums I link to are in the MD, DC and VA area. The Artist of the Month page will highlight various artists I am interested in. These may go along with recent exhibits I've seen or books I have read. I will store archives of these pages on my blog.
I am also considering adding a resources page for art historians, but am still working on the details for how that page should function. I hope you all enjoy the changes. Keeping checking back for updates and new content!
